Our blog started as a Travelog (my wife Sarah and I followed The Dead and Phish in an RV summer of 2004) - but now it is Mr. Mike's blog about life and that sort of thing. A working class family man - trying to start our own hippie business and managing telemarketters all the while.

Day 53: July 29
Today was going to be a driving day and we knew it - we were a little frustrated that we were able to setup all day yesterday and barely made 100.00 - and also were not looking forward to the long drive to Mass (we don't really like Mass as it is). We needed to stop and get an oil change also so that ate up and hour and a half today too... it was just one of those days where you keep driving and driving and never seem to get anywhere. I did most of this whole drive and we even drove through the night quite a bit. Our drive took us through Pennsylvania mostly all the day and I have to say that the semi drivers in this area are far more aggressive than anywhere else I have ever driven. I don't know why that is and it doesn't make sense to me - but once it hit nightfall these truck drivers turned into some scary bastards. Usually RVers and truckers kind of watch out for each other - but not by Scranton PA. We got off the road after that and stayed somewhere around here and left ourselves 275 miles tommorrow - which was the first day of the 2 night weekend for The Dead at Great Woods.
