Our blog started as a Travelog (my wife Sarah and I followed The Dead and Phish in an RV summer of 2004) - but now it is Mr. Mike's blog about life and that sort of thing. A working class family man - trying to start our own hippie business and managing telemarketters all the while.

Sun Night
Well - the weekend is pretty much over and what do I have to show for it?
It sucked because Sarah had to work both Sat & Sun - usually we have Sun off together. I spent alot of time in the home theater - enjoying the new 52" DLP Projection TV - cleared a lot of movies off the Tivo - Deerhunter, The Terminal, Spider Man 2. I pull out the couch-bed and am in perfect surround sound - I love it... Friday night we had movie night also and watched The Grudge - but I fell asleep. I played some Madden on the big screen and ended up losing the super bowl to the Ravens - this would be super bowl of 2007 - couldn't keep Braylon Edwards on the Lions either with salary cap issues. Can't wait for NCAA & Madden 06 to come out. I upgraded our DirectTv to all the channels and was watching some college football this weekend too. Watched the DVD that Danny Clinch made for Phish's Undermind release and really enjoyed the behind the scenes view of their recording process for that album. Wow really been missing them this summer. Also watched Mr Plow (one of my favorite Simpsons). I also got other work done - of course mowing the lawn like every week - and I dug a new fire pit - started digging it anyway - I am going to want it bigger. Oh and I burnt the box the TV came in - that was crazy - it went up faster than i expected. What a weekend huh - sucks back to work tomm...

Mon. Night
Man i gotta say that EPMD song It's My Thang is the stuff - working the Ipod shuffle tonite and listening to some old shit - It's too bad I fucked up my music library and deleted all my Boogie Down Productions - I had em all with Criminal Minded... Now Im listening to Redman's Tonight's the night... I also lost all my Das EFX and Buckethead ... no good.. But i saved my EPMD! now IPODs on Ice T's 6 in the morning going old scool ....
