Well today was a long day at work.... I have had a fucked up stomach all day - I drank too much this weekend - been watching The Scouting Combine on The NFL Network. Interesting checking out the new rookies, but it sucks that a lot of the high profile guys don't work out at this thing. Had a couple friends come over for the Sunday coverage of QB, RB, WR and I got drunk - then we played a couple games of Madden and I beat them both. I drank all day until about 4 pm and then started with water - I was already getting a hangover - then I decided to drink a Monster energy drink for the first time in my life to see what the craze is all about. Bad Idea.... this fucked up my guts until this very minute. Work was tough - I'm not cut out for Monsters.

This last full moon was a tough one for our family..... for some reason it was a humbling moon that made me have to deal with disappointment. I typically have things go my way, but everyone once in a while shit goes wrong all over the place. Lets see where to begin - early last week I overloaded the clothes washer and it somehow made the outdoor spicket spray water all over the yard - not good in Minnesota during winter; I lost 17% of all my MP3s because of a screw up with my new MP3 players software - this one really sucks - I lost A to E of my library, but I am over it now - the biggest hit here are my Boogie Down Productions, De La Soul, Buckethead - some rare stuff. Oh and Some Fucker ran over our mailbox out at the farm - what the hell is this all about - they drove off the road and must have hit the mailbox with their vehicle (tire tracks in the snow). I don't get it - the list goes on - but fuck it - we are starting a new moon cycle now and we'll just move on.

We are going up to the Cities this Thursday to see Keller Williams! Cannot wait - we have been seeing some good shows lately. If you have never seen or heard of Keller you need to check him out!!!! Download a show from the Live Music Archive and enjoy - Keller is the one man band - he will lay one thing down and then loop it and then play something on top of that and around it goes.... he is really incredible and I can't do him justice in type. I was listening to 12-31-04 on the way home from work and he was playing Terrapin Station solo on the piano and sang the whole thing - it was nice. So anyway we are able to check that out - probably staying in a hotel - but maybe driving home after.

Well the weekend is here and it has been going well - yesterday was 50 some degrees, but windy as all get out. I played a couple really good games of Madden with my Lions team in year 2 - but Harrington got hurt - he was in the runnings for MVP. Spent all day archiving and burning discs:

I really wish I could find Viperhouse 11-19-98 they had an after Phish show where Trey sat in at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem. I took a pee at the same time as Mike Gordon at that show - all I said was "Lookin' pretty shnazzy Mike" he said Thank You. He had his gold shinny shirt from fall tour 98 with black pants. Good Times.....


Yesterday I drove into town and saw my Mom & Sister - and my Mom had another chair for the new house to go around the kitchen island... after that I came home and drank alot of beer, I finished the back wall with the second coat of Island Blue paint and am excited to get the rear speakers up for the home theater - just in time for the big game. Today is the big day and we are ready - except we don't have enough beer or milk - I guess i drank more than I thought yesterday and now we only have 9 beers for Super Sunday - I was thinking about asking Sarah to drive us up to Nicolett to buy some 3.2 beer. Either way Sarah & I have a big day of eating and celebrating planned.
I already got some good work done this weekend - loaded the dishwasher; did a load of laundry; I even went out the grove and saved the tiny evergreen that had a dead tree fall on it. I was burning alot of brush and trash today too.. I think I will continue to do laundry through the day. Well I gotta try to talk Sarah into driving up to Nicolette now - or stop drinking until kickoff.

when the hell are the D going back on tour?

Well - thank god it'll be friday - I made it to the gym before work today for the third time in a row and met my goal - I always hate Thursday Nights because I have to work early on Fridays - My schedule is screwy that way Early on Mon - late Tue-Thur and then early Friday again. So just as I get used to being up late; i have to go in early.. o h well - i'm having a couple beers tonight and watching celebrity poker on bravo - chris kattan just went out - looking forward to gettin some shit done this weekend and maybe catching a game of madden or two... can catch a wolves game tomm. after work on espn vs rockets. i haven't even caught a whole game yet this season and All-Star Starters have already been selected.... that sucks - not much to say tonite - too tired to get any work done....

I woke up this morning and Blue Lagoon was on Cinemax - pretty wierd movie - I am glad yesterday is over, it was one of the worst days ever - problems at work. But today is a new day - they are doing road construction outside the farmhouse this morning and there are big Tonka toys all around here. Sarah made some hummus that I am having for breakfast also last night we had broccoli cheese soup with cranberry biscuits. Brooke Shields and her boyfriend are drifting at sea and their baby ate the bad berries. I am buying tickets for Slipknot's upcoming show for some of the kids at work this morning - I remember how much it sucked not having a credit card. I have to go to the gym again today - one last time this week and then a break - can't wait for the weekend going to need to get some CD organization done and try to do more painting and get the surround sound up for the Super Bowl party! I have figured out how to use access logs a little for our homepage. Also I found out that a lot of people are finding my burrito review page by searching and that it was linked from this blog.

Hey there - quick note before work - trying to figure out how people do it - there never seems to be enough time - can't get the painting done and can't keep the blog updated and having trouble getting the website going - can't keep up with all the music i download. AW who cares huh... work a little - play a little - and so on. We are living out in the country and it is 40 degrees in the beginning of FEB. boy our environment must be fucked up... I have been trying to hit the gym again and doing it before work - so far so good... We are lucky there has been no snow - because all we have is a shovel and that would suck to shovel a long driveway.... Sarah & I are going to watch the super bowl together - we have a bet - I take the Patriots -7 that is a tough spread against the Philly defense. I hope I win the bet - can't go into what the prize is (it's dirty - let's just say we are all winners here). Well I gotta go get my fat ass on the Elyptical.
