Our blog started as a Travelog (my wife Sarah and I followed The Dead and Phish in an RV summer of 2004) - but now it is Mr. Mike's blog about life and that sort of thing. A working class family man - trying to start our own hippie business and managing telemarketters all the while.

Oh by the way....

I have found the perfect hangover cure!
Don't knock it til you try it boys...

Thur Morning

Hey there - man this week is dragging by... I gotta say I can't wait for Saturday:
Here is my line up:
11:00 AM the NFL Draft starts
2:00 PM NBA Playoffs start with Sixers at Pistons
4:30 PM Playoffs continue Rockets at Mavs
Somewhere in here I am going to have to find a ride to town and get ready for the
Trampled by Turtles show at McGoff's Irish Pub here in Mankato
Then there is a kegger for afterwards and we will take a cab home!
Can't Wait

Other than that - Sarah and I got drunk one night last week and decided to buy tickets to fly to Florida next winter!! we are taking 10 days and renting a car to hit all our favorite Florida spots...
Things have been going well around the house. We planted a couple trees last week - and it has been raining an awful lot - too bad our sump pump is not working right now. I am really enjoying the new TIVO we bought and catching some good stuff - thinking about upgrading to all the channels DirectTV has to offer.
I found the Buckethead show from the Cabooze on 4/6 thanks to Josh!
I already have it downloaded and will listen to it on the way to work today!!!!

Looking forward to Arbor Day and planting a lot of trees
Join the Arbor Day Foundation for CHEAP trees!

Well the first Judge Joe Brown is done - that's my sign to get lunch and get ready for work...

We are hoping for a good morel season this year

...

Here are a few pictures of my new niece Brielle

Wed. Night

Today was a good day at work - finally some things went right. So wierd how yesterday was so bad and today was the best productivity i've had ever. Yesterday was cold and rainy and grey outside - and the work reflected it - today was sunny and a title company brought us all Olive Garden food! So that was nice - I haven't written in a while -
I'm an uncle now!!! My sister and her husband had their first born baby girl - Brielle Marae - I went to visit over Easter and she was amazing - Wow! What a cute little baby...
Other than that - there isn't a whole lot new - Sarah and I have been lucky to get to a few shows lately - Galactic - buckethead - Keller
all the snow has melted here now and it is starting to rain...
the trees are budding and it is a beautiful season
grass is getting green and it is getting warm
can't wait for mushroom season!
